How we cost a project

  • Fixed scope, fixed price - Most build work is quoted as a fixed price once the brief is locked. You know what you're paying before the first line of code lands. Change requests are itemised and approved before they land.
  • Monthly retainers - Managed IT support and growth marketing run on monthly retainers. Cancel any month, no annual lock-in. You see the time log every month, no padded hours.
  • Hourly when it fits - For small fixes, audits, or one-off consulting we bill £95/hr in 15-min blocks. Useful when the work doesn't justify scoping a fixed-price job.

Questions we get asked

What's the smallest job you'll take on?

A few hundred pounds for a quick audit, broken-form fix, or stripe checkout setup. Most projects start around £2,000-£5,000 once branding or development is involved.

Do you take a deposit?

Yes. Typically 50% on signature, balance on delivery for fixed-price projects under £10k. Larger projects split into milestone payments - usually 30% / 40% / 30%.

Are there ongoing costs after a build?

Hosting, domains, and SSL renew yearly (we pass through cost - no markup). If you take our IT support retainer we cover the lot. Otherwise we hand over login details and you own everything.

Who owns the code/designs when you're done?

You do. Full IP transfer on final invoice payment. Source code, design files, brand assets - everything ends up in your account.

Can you work to a fixed budget?

Almost always. Tell us your number first; we'll tell you honestly what we can build inside it. If it doesn't add up we'll say so rather than ship something that won't work.
